Award Ceremony

Well I was slacking and didn't take any photos durring the awards ceremony at The Corcoran last night. The ceremony was fun though, not the normal boring reading of names. My parents also made the trip down from Philadelphia, even though I neglected to tell them about the ceremony until the night before.

I'm surprised and honored that I was selected for an award. I think receiving it, along with the critique in class tonight, and the review of my thesis, made me realize that I'm comfortable with my abilities as a photographer, but not as confident as I should be. I think I need to be more confident in doing things with and through my photography.

I know, Susan, I still suck.
