4x5 Portrait of Norman

I went to New York recently to visit my great-uncle Norm. We spent the afternoon catching up, and I shot a few 4x5 portraits of him.

Large format black and white portaitNorman in his apartment in New York City.

Hey Denny,

You do beautiful 4x5. I'm actually planning on purchasing a 4x5. Either a Toyo or Shen-Hao field camera. Also if you're ever near Central Jersey, free lunch on me if you can give me some hands-on pointers.

Keep it up.

It was a simple setup. Norm was sitting in front of a white wall and a window with indirect sunlight to the camera's right. I didn't record the camera settings, but it's on Ilford FP4 probably at f/4.7 and the camera is between 1.5-2 feet from him.
