Part of what I love about portrait photography is the unknown. No matter how much planning I put into a shoot, I never know how the subject is going act or feel.
The images below are for The Corcoran's NEXT promotional collateral. My job was to make portraits of each student with their thesis artwork. The catch was that the studio owner requested I not set up any of my own lighting. The saving grace of the space were the track lights that were easily re-positioned. Track lighting is never ideal, but in this situation it worked out fairly well.
