Yesterday was the press preview for the Eadweard Muybridge show at The Corcoran.
This exhibition is huge.
Someone told me there were over 300 prints in the show, and I don't doubt them. The show occupies the majority of the upper level of The Corcoran and spans his entire career.
The exhibit does a great job of engaging viewers and relating Muybridge's work to contemporary art and photography. I highly recommend checking out this exhibition, especially since The Corcoran is offering free admission on Saturdays this summer.
